What: Launch of Art & Protest: What’s there to be mad about? is launched at Bethlem Gallery. The exhibition is curated by artist-activist Dolly Sen and profiles art used as protest, including many works about benefit cuts and the distress and loss of life it produces. Some of the artworks include:

VINCE LAWS – DWP DEATHS MAKE ME SICK
Why significant: Showcases an enormous amount of artwork on how DWP treats people, and how the benefits system is experienced as a painful and grief-worthy spectre that haunts most disabled people’s lives (Dolly Sen).
